I now hold the AENOR ISO/IEC 42001 Lead Auditor qualification

This week I finished AENOR's ISO 42001 Lead Auditor programme and passed the exam. It's the qualification I was aiming for in my previous post, after the responsible AI masterclass.

AENOR own-title qualification «Auditor/a Líder ISO 42001» (ISO 42001 Lead Auditor) awarded to Antonio Cebreiro Bernárdez, a 35-hour training programme held from 14 to 22 October 2026, signed by Enrique Marco Martín, Director of AENOR Campus, in Madrid on 22 October 2026
AENOR Own-title qualification «Auditor/a Líder ISO 42001» (ISO 42001 Lead Auditor), a 35-hour programme held from 14 to 22 October 2026. The certificate is in Spanish.

What it covers

It is an AENOR own-title qualification: it shows that I completed the 35-hour programme and passed its exam. ISO/IEC 42001 certification audits are carried out by accredited certification bodies; ACBSEC does not perform that type of audit or issue certificates.

Where I use it

It helps me review an AI management system with an auditor's eye: the gap analysis against ISO/IEC 42001, the evidence that is needed and how ready the company is for an audit. If you want a first idea of where you stand, there is the ISO/IEC 42001 checklist.
