1. This website does not use cookies
And that's not just a turn of phrase: acbsec.com installs no first-party or third-party cookies on your device. There are no analytics, advertising, social media or personalisation cookies.
That's why you won't see any banner here asking for your consent: quite simply, there is nothing to consent to.
2. What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file that a website stores in your browser to remember information about your visit. Under article 22.2 of the Spanish LSSI-CE, any cookie that is not strictly necessary to provide the service requires your prior, informed consent.
3. The choices I've made so they aren't needed
- Self-hosted typefaces: the site's fonts are served from my own domain instead of being loaded from Google Fonts, so your IP address is not disclosed to third parties.
- No analytics tools: I don't use Google Analytics or any equivalent audience measurement system.
- No pixels or social buttons: there are no embedded elements from LinkedIn, Meta or other platforms that could track you.
- Contact and template forms: these are processed through Cloudflare Workers, Turnstile and Microsoft 365. They do not include analytics or advertising tracking; anti-abuse protection validates requests. Data processing and optional commercial consent are explained in the privacy policy.
4. Cloudflare and security cookies
This website uses Cloudflare as a content delivery network and attack protection system. It has been verified that, during normal browsing of the site, Cloudflare installs no cookies in your browser.
However, if its security system were to detect a suspicious traffic pattern and trigger an automatic check to confirm you are not a robot, a strictly necessary, short-lived cookie could be installed for the sole purpose of remembering that the check was passed. This type of cookie is exempt from the prior consent requirement under article 22.2 of the LSSI-CE, as it is essential to provide the requested security service. It is not used to identify you, track you across sites or for advertising purposes.
5. Links to external sites
This website contains some links to third-party pages (for example, technical publications or industry events). If you visit them, you will be subject to their own cookie and privacy policies, over which I have no control.
